You are here: Home / Prima Access Control / Built-in Nexus reader – A reader hidden in a door station

FlexAir® access control can be fully integrated with door communication. The small Nexus readers are built into door stations and hidden behind reader windows. Residents can now use programmed access tags to open the door instead of traditional keys. The administrator can control access rights in the Nova software, which increases security if an access tag is lost. It is possible to integrate readers in most TCS door stations.
The administrator can easily and quickly add new residents in the Nova software, whose names immediately will be shown at the door station and on the display call button at the apartment door. The administrator can also use the software to assign the user access to relevant doors. The administrator does not need to physically have the access tags on hand as access rights are granted via ID-numbers in the system. Because the administrator can control when the access rights are valid, it is possible to send access tags to new residents before they move in simply by creating a starting date for the access tags in the software.
With few clicks a new user is created, access rights are defined, access tags are send, and the resident’s name is added at the door station and at the apartment – everything from one web browser without extra costs for name plates, cylinders, and key replacements.
