Remote control reader – Avoid waiting time at the parking lot
Prima’s access control remote control reader operates in the same way as an ordinary online reader. It is easy to add a remote control reader to the access control system, which makes it possible to open gates or parking tollbars. This minimizes waiting time when driving in or out of the parking lot. It only takes a push of a button on the remote control to get access, and it is not necessary to be close to the tollbars automat, because the remote control antenna has a reading range of up to 100 meters depending on the conditions (EMC & line of sight). The solution is AES-128 encrypted and provides a very high degree of security.
Different remote controls for various needs
Depending on the needs, we offer three different remote controls. The remote controls comes with either two or four buttons or as a mini version with two buttons.
It is possible to assign different access rights to each user depending on which button on the remote control is used. For example, one button can give access to the company’s parking lot around the clock while another button gives access to the warehouse during business hours. It is possible to assign specific access privileges to different people.
The different buttons can be set to different areas with different access rights, which makes the remote reader a flexible solution. It is of course possible to have the same access rights to multiple areas. In this case, only one button is used at all gates and doors.
Parking solution with traffic control
If the remote control reader is combined with a traffic light, it is possible to control the traffic at parking facilities. For example, when there is only one driving lane for both entrance and exit, the remote control reader can manage when cars drive in or out through a traffic light. This way cars will not collide on the middle and access is easy and safe. It is of course possible to use Prima’s traffic control in a multitude of situations – wherever you need to manage traffic.
