Alpha elevator controller – A secure elevator solution made simple
The main element of any elevator control system is the central, connecting all other components at the same time. The central handles the communication with the elevator control unit. A reader is installed in the elevator or at the door station at the entrance through which the users’ access tag/card is read and the elevator is released. The elevator solution from Prima Systems is based on security, user requirements and needs and intelligent software, which combined means that the central is developed to satisfy requirements of today and of the future. This solution can be adjusted to new requirements, extensions or upgrades to the current system by using existing components.
Elevator control and door access control at the same time
One single Alpha Elevator Controller has enough outputs to control up to 10 elevator destinations. In case the building is higher than 10 floors, it is possible to program several Alpha elevator controllers with a script-module to be able to control a large number of elevator destinations.
It is also possible to use the controller for both elevator-control and regular access control of several doors.

Intelligent software offers great advantages
With the corresponding software, Nova, it is easy to define the access rights of access tags and cards as well adding and removing access tags and cards – without having to consult the elevator company. As a precautionary measure, the Nova software has an event log which makes it possible to get a quick overview of who is using the elevator and when. The administrator can name the different destinations in the software, so the system is simple to operate on a daily basis.
